To make it appealing to the modern era, the comics were commissioned into a television series. They were created by AnantPai in 1980’s to teach children about Indian history. ![]() The show is inspired by the large number of comics released under the same name. While primarily produced in Hindi it was dubbed into multiple languages. The series is based on the comics by the same name created by AnantPai. Amar Chitra Katha or immortal captivating pictures is a series of animated shows for children.
